This month at Think Tank Thursday we watched Lisa Saraniecki’s class video.  In the video, Lisa used the4 C’s routine, Micro Lab protocol, and Headlines routine to teach a lesson on money management.  After watching the video, the group discussed any of the eight cultural forces that were noticed, and discussed how multiple routines can be used to bump up a lesson.  Since Lisa was present, she was asked to describe the differences she noticed in student thinking from previous years to this year.  The reset of the time was used to collaborate with colleagues about upcoming lessons.  

The high school administrators from Rochester got a sneak peek at visible thinking in action today when they visited the Reuther classrooms belonging to Natalie James (math), Shelley Moore (science), Jari Pathenos (ELA), and Bill Staugaard (social studies).
